Recap of the 2024 AUSPL National Conference

In April 2024, the Association of United States Postal Lessors (AUSPL) held its national conference in Miami, FL. Postal Realty Trust was proud to be the Principal Sponsor of the event. The three-day, two-night conference was enjoyed by over 300 attendees. The event was led by AUSPL President Keith LaShier, who also serves as the Senior Vice President for Real Estate Asset Counseling, the premier consulting company serving owners of postal properties. Attendees were provided presentations and training materials from a variety of experts on topics including: USPS lease forms, building maintenance, building inspections, insurance, estates and trusts, EMCOR and other relevant topics. A popular subject was “Lessor Issues Dealing with the USPS.” Keith LaShier and Abby Feinstein of REAC were key presenters in this session. They shared their experiences with the attendees and offered useful tips and recommendations on working with USPS and JLL.
